Don’t Compromise on Quality with PowerPoint

I get lots of requests for PowerPoint presentations. But PowerPoint isn’t always the answer.

Can you remember the last PowerPoint presentation you sat through?

Literally can you remember anything about it?

Generally, they’re a bit dry, too wordy, and not particularly inspiring.

But it doesn’t have to be that way!

MS PowerPoint can be super-restrictive in design terms and doesn’t always do the content justice. Because it’s PC based, you’re limited by boxes and standard fonts. It just doesn’t leave any scope for creativity.

Here at Absolute Graphics, we can do soooo much better! What I like to give clients is creativity and options.

I’ve designed loads of presentations, for all sorts of businesses. From Bermuda financial advisors to a UK toilet roll packaging company! And everything in between.

Presentations for client pitches, internal use, committee meetings, annual reports, showcasing work and exhibition stand screens.

Take the Bermudans. They wanted a slick presentation that would be memorable, run smoothly and keep their audiences engaged.

Designing their presentation using Adobe InDesign allowed for bucket loads more creative licence.

The final presentation submitted in Acrobat screamed “slick”, combining the style of a brochure and proper presentation aesthetic.

You want your audiences interested, engaged, awake (!) throughout and wow’d by your polish.

I find InDesign offers a more professional, high-definition look, with the flexibility to include fonts, logos and colours, knitted together with corporate ID if you’ve got one.

Death by PowerPoint averted.

Even the most proficient PowerPoint’ers don’t have the creative freedom of a graphic designer and his design package.  Nor the time.

I can take your content, produce the presentation in Adobe InDesign like a brochure and output it as an Adobe Acrobat PDF.  All you do is simply run the presentation.

It looks and feels so much more complete.

Just like a PDF, Acrobat presentations come in pre-locked files, so you can’t edit them.  If you sort the content beforehand, then send over the file, I’ll transform it into a professional presentation and if you decide you need a few changes once you see the end result, I can do those for you too.

So, instead of spending hours battling with PowerPoint - when you’ve got plenty of other things to do – why not let me design it for you? Call 07789 866242 or email graham@absolutegraphics.co.uk

And while I’m adding the creative magic, you can think about your delivery.
